BCHS Spanish students participated in an activity in which the class tells the Torero and Toro how to move to pose like famous bullfighting suertes in Spanish.

While making learning fun and test scores high, Mr. McGuire's BCHS Honors Biology students competed against one another in a competitive review game over macromolecules. Outstanding job by our BCHS science department!

BCHS students in Essentials of Healthcare/Anatomy and Physiology class are learning about body planes using clay models.

Ms. Christi Medders' BCHS Healthcare students researched and presented information about the evolution of Healthcare through Eras from Ancient Times to today.

BCHS students in Mr. Brent Johnson's Engineering class were asked to create a Ball Drop device out of paper and tape under the constraints of height and amount of materials. The object was to create a device that a ping pong ball would travel the "slowest" from top to bottom. Using the engineering design process and teamwork the following students work diligently to complete the task.

Bacon County School District held a local technology fair on January 11, 2023. The tech fair is open to all students in grades 3-12. Students could compete as an individual or in teams of 2. There were 13 available categories for the students to choose from. They could only compete in 1 category. We had a total of 31 students participate. That included 7 team entries and 24 individual entries.
All students who placed 1st or 2nd in their category, in their grade band, will now advance on to the Okefenokee RESA technology fair that will take place in Waycross on January 27, 2023.
We have 24 students that will represent Bacon County at the Okefenokee RESA technology fair. Congratulations to each of our local winners!
