Bacon County Board of Education celebrated and honored all 2025 retirees during the May monthly meeting. We are unbelievably fortunate to have had such an inspiring group of educators and team members whose dedication, heart, and years of service have made such an inspiring impact on our schools and community.

Raiders are not slowing down this last week of school. We are BC Proud of the goals we have reached as a team in 2024-2025 and are currently preparing for yet another phenomenal school year to come!

For the month of May, the Raider Academy is proud to recognize Nicholas Henderson as the Student of the Month. Raider Academy Coordinator, Mrs. Chandra Green, shared, "Nicholas is laser-focused on his goals and possesses the drive to achieve them. He is an outstanding young man who has grown both academically and personally. Nicholas is also a hardworking young man of integrity and character who perseveres and gives his best each day. He is well deserving of the May Student of the Month recognition." Congratulations, Mr. Henderson! We are EXTREMELY BC Proud of you and look forward to watching you as you continue to excel each and every day!

During the Monthly Bacon County Board of Education Work Session, CTSO competitors with exceptional state rankings were celebrated for the hard work and dedication that led them to success!

Friday, May 16, 2025, Bacon Elementary, fifth-grade students participated in "AG DAY", hosted each year by the BCMS/BCHS FFA.

A true testament to their persistence and hard work over the last thirteen years. What an honor it is to be named the Bacon County, Class of 2025, TOP 5!

Congratulations, once again, to Mr. Ray Tucker, the 2025 Star Student, and Mrs. Angela McLean, the 2025 Star Teacher, who were both honored and recognized for their outstanding achievements at the Bacon County Board of Education -May Work Session‼ We are BC Proud of them both!
