BCMS/BCHS Steel Drummers are preparing to perform at the annual Steel Drum Festival hosted by Lowndes County High, March 25th. This is not a vendor event. This event will be filled with steel drummers from Georgia & Florida. It is open to the public and will be music to your ears! We highly encourage you to attend & support our Raiders!!

Miss Bailee Baltimore, PreK teacher is showing her students how to grow a plant from a cut up piece of potato. Each child planted their potato in soil. Now they're watching to see what happens.

Bacon County Elementary School had the pleasure of participating in the "Georgia Ag Experience". Students were excited to visit the 36 foot mobile classroom. The students manipulated technology and their digital learning programs to understand seven different Georgia agricultural commodities. This STEM based educational program allows students to explore the many opportunities in agriculture and the impact it has on our local community.

BCHS students in Mr. Miles' Basic Agriculture class are learning the symbolism of the FFA emblem. Pictured is a group activity where students were led by Mr. Miles on how to draw the details out on a paper plate over their head. What a fun way to engrain the details of this Nationally Recognized FFA emblem. Winners were selected for the best replication of the emblem.

BCHS Healthcare Science students work through stations over performing medical interventions for acute integumentary disorders and injuries such as lacerations, pressure ulcers & wounds‼️

Bacon County Board of Education's Bryan Taylor, along with Libby Jackson-Diagne and Leah Miles, Co-Directors of the most recent Bacon Theatre Live Variety Show. The show was titled “A Not so Silent Night in Bacon County” and all the profits from the two night event were donated to the Bacon County Student Services Fund. This is the fourth show with the profits going to the Bacon CO Student Services Fund. Thank you to everyone who contributed & supported BCSD student services‼️

BCHS, ECE (Early Childhood Education) Intern Macy Barber, works with a small group on an ELA skill to combine sentences using correct punctuation, in Mrs. Mosley's 5th grade class.
