BCHS Football Cheerleaders supported Breast Cancer awareness month in October by wearing pink ribbons, bows and cheering with pink pom poms!
The cheerleaders purchased shirts from the Bacon County Hospital & Health Systems and had a 50/50 raffle to raise money for the breast cancer unit at the Bacon County Hospital! They raised $464.00‼️ Way to go BC‼️

Bacon County School District was highlighted GaDOE in their weekly Spotlight newsletter, last week. We are constantly reminded of our amazing students and leaders!

November 1st, BCMS Competition Cheer squad competed at Wayne County High in the Southeast Georgia Middle School Athletic Conference and finished third. These ladies are rising stars and continue to make us BCProud!

The BCHS Competition Cheerleaders finished 3rd in their Area Competition this past Saturday at Ola High School. There were 7 schools in their Area and a total of 25 A schools from the state of Georgia at the competition. We are #BCPROUD of these ladies and their outstanding coaches!
They will compete this Saturday in Macon at 10:00 am at the Macon Coliseum.

For the first time in BC history, both Boys and Girls Cross Country teams advanced to the GHSA State meet. Coach Alison Lee, and her teams traveled to Carrollton, Georgia and brought back a record of boys 21/30 and girls 22/26. Dylan Dixon had the best overall time with a 17.37 and scored 15th over all‼️ Congratulations to these outstanding Red Raiders!

November 7-11, is National School Psychology Week‼️ Please join us in celebrating Mrs. Karen Lamb‼️ We are thankful for her and all that she does for BCSD‼️

In Mrs. Tiffany Ross’ Business Communication Class, students are learning the importance of soft skills in the workplace. Sandy Roman acts out the term employability discouragement while her classmates attempt to figure out what term she chose. While in the following photo, students learned that success often comes after failure. They learned about many famous people that received rejections before succeeding. Students participated in an activity where they threw a ball at the wall, the ball bounced back quickly depending on how hard it was thrown. Then students threw eggs at the wall. The eggs splattered and fell. Students were asked if they want to be a "ball" person or an "egg" person. We should all strive to be a "ball" and bounce back and not let our failures or rejections get us down.

BCHS Senior Bryan Cervantes, uses sheet metal to make a metal flower in Mr. Miles’ AG metal fabrication class. Our students are learning trades they will use to become successful in life, and the talent they obtain is unbelievable.
