BCSD- Hurricane Idalia Update
Bacon County Schools will close for students and staff on Wednesday, August 30th due to Hurricane Idalia. We are expecting high winds, and possibly even hurricane force winds in our area.
As of now, we plan to return to normal school operations on Thursday, August 31st assuming Bacon County has power and our roads are clear for buses to travel.
Any change in school operations for Thursday will be announced via Parent Connect, our district Facebook page, and our local radio station on Wednesday afternoon.
Our focus is, as always, to make sure our students and staff are safe.
