Once a month at BCES, two teachers are nominated by their peers, admin, and/or ICs for going above and beyond their expected duties. For the month of October, 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Channing Deen, and 4th grade teacher Ms. Joanna Milton were named as "Sunshine Award" winners. These teachers received a goody bag, and preferential parking for the month of November! Congratulations to you both! Please know you are appreciated!

Out of all the students in their grade, these are the Top AR Readers, five from 1st grade and five from 2nd grade, for the month of October‼ Being named as a top reader is an astounding accomplishment. We are so very BC Proud of each of them‼ Way to go, guys and girls‼

Bacon County Middle School selected these students and teachers as their Teachers and Students of the Month for October! These rising stars are just another reason we are BC Strong ‼ Outstanding job by each of them as they set an example for their peers!

Ja'lijah Simpson was selected as the November Student of the Month. Mrs. Chandra Green, Raider Academy Coordinator shared, " He was selected because of his academic achievement, overall improvement, and ability to lead and motivate other students. Ja'lijah is a student who is dedicated to completing tasks ahead of schedule while motivating others to reach their goals as well. He has worked as a peer mediator and tutor. Ja'lijah is a respectable young man who operates with integrity."

BCHS Theatre Cast to make their debut performance in nine days. Two dates are available for your convenience. There will be a $10 admission fee for anyone older than 5 years of age. The performance will begin at seven o'clock in the evening, on both Friday and Saturday. Mark your planner, see any theatre cast member to purchase your tickets, and prepare for early arrival for the best seating! Both nights are predicted to be a sold-out show! See you soon!
