BCHS Named Masters of Mathematics by the Georgia Department of Education

Congratulations Bacon County High School!
On November 5, 2024, the Georgia Department of Education awarded BCHS the Math Leader Award for its phenomenal growth on the 2024 Algebra GMAS (Georgia Milestone) Test‼
“Congratulations to our first-ever Math Leader schools!”, said State Superintendent, Richard Woods. “These schools and their educators, students, families, and communities have worked hard to implement the new K-12 Mathematics Standards and prepare all students for life. I commend them on their outstanding work."
