BCMS and BCHS Honor Band Students and their directors were recognized at the April 2024 Bacon County Board of Education, board meeting for being named one of the most prestigious musicians in their field, for the District 8 Area!

Raising the bar, Bacon Elementary fourth-grade student Coleson Jordan was recognized and honored during the March Monthly Board Meeting, for being the first BCSD Technology Competitor in BCSD history, to earn FIRST PLACE at the state level. Remarkable job by Coleson.

Second grader, Briggs Rewis joined the BCPS Elite 1,000,000 Words Club! He began this school year with two goals:
1. Read a million words
2. Reach 300 points, and beat his daddy's second-grade AR point title.
He has reached both and is now busy setting new personal goals he WILL accomplish! Congratulations Briggs! YOU make us BC Proud!

State Superintendent Gives Credit to CTAE

The Georgia Department of Education recently reported graduation rates across the state have risen, and gives credit to CTAE for this accomplishment.
We are extremely thankful to Mrs. Jessica Boatright and her entire CTAE Department for the exceptional jobs they each do.

Weekend Family Fun!

The Class of 2027 will host Powder Puff Football while the BCHS CTAE Department welcomes you and your family to, Family Movie Night. Both event's proceeds will support your local BC students, while you make memories that will last a lifetime.
